After successfully hosting the Blackburn 10k in 2019, 2021 and 2022 we are excited to put on this great event again on Sunday 3rd December 2023 Hosted by BRFC Trust in support of ELHT.
This 10k race starts and finishes INSIDE Ewood Park and runs around Blackburn town centre taking in all of the local landmarks.
Ewood Park is the home of Blackburn Rovers. The race will start and finish inside the ground in front of the Riverside Stand. Your event village with music, food and entertainment will be located at the Blackburn End. The Blackburn End itself will be open for spectators so you can catch a glimpse of your friends and family as they finish their 10k race.
Starting and finishing inside Ewood Park, the course heads out onto the closed roads for a fast 10k route that takes in Blackburn town centre before making its way back on a looped route toward Ewood Park. This is a scenic tour of Blackburn heading out over the iconic blue bridge, into the town centre, passing the cathedral, King George’s Hall and the central Mall before returning through Mill Hill back to Ewood Park.
